Bond Clarification

A mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk-through will be held on October 6, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. at Payne Recreation Center, 3800 Main Street, Moraine, Ohio.

Each proposal shall be signed with the full name and business address of each interested company and shall be accompanied by a security bond issued by a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, or by a certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the submitted main contract proposal. Bond or certified check must be payable to the City of Moraine as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be executed and its performance secured by a satisfactory bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price or irrevocable letter of credit.

The proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents, or a copy thereof, with a price quoted for the proposed maintenance services.

City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the City of Moraine.

The commencement date will be on or about November 15, 2016. Copies of the Contract documents and specifications will be available for review at the Manager’s Office.

Rezoning Case R-02-2016 - The Council of the City of Moraine will be holding a public hearing to give consideration to a proposed development in an M-PUD Industrial Planned Unit Development. The property is located on Daruma Parkway, in the Moraine Commerce Park, and consists of one lot totaling 6.261 acres +/-. Council will be reviewing the Specific Site Plan for the proposed development.

The public hearing will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at 6:00 p.m. in the Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio 45439. Proposed changes include amendments to Chapter 1115, Definitions, and Chapter 1189, Signs and Advertising Devices. The proposal would amend regulations dealing with Billboards and other off premise signs.
